Stacey graduated in 2003 and obtained a Bachelor of Law Degree.  Upon leaving university she gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at The College of Law in York.  Stacey joined Bleasdale & Co. Solicitors Limited in 2007 as an Associate Solicitor and became a Director in January 2012.  Stacey is the Head of the Matrimonial department and specialises in all areas of Family Law including divorce, separation, financial disputes, contact disputes and child care matters.  She is also the Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA) and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) for the firm.

Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and since qualification has both practised and taught Family Law. In January 2015 Sarah became a Director of the firm working in the Family Law Department alongside Stacey Coyles.  Sarah specialises in care, adoption, special guardianship and private law cases.  Sarah represents the children, parents and other family members in care proceedings and in private law proceedings.  Sarah is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel.

Rachel is the head of our Private Client Department and specialises in Wills, Probate, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. Rachel has dealt with over 300 probate matters including high value estates and agricultural estates. Rachel graduated in 2005 having obtaining a first class honors Law Degree from Sheffield Hallam University. She then attended the College of Law in York where she gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Rachel joined Bleasdale & Co. Solicitors Limited in 2006 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in January 2009.

David qualified as a Solicitor in 1984 and for many years had his own firm in the South East of England specialising in Crime and Mental Health. He was then appointed as head of Crown Court Department of a large multi office specialist criminal practice, dealing with a range of serious crime. David moved to Cumbria in 2007, and as a Higher Courts Advocate appears regularly in the Crown Courts, and has had successes in the Court of Appeal. He prides himself on the continuity of representation from Police Station through to Trial.

Elizabeth joined Bleasdales in September 2018 in our general  Litigation Department.  Elizabeth undertook part of the Ilex course and gained an advanced personal injury diploma from Leeds Metropolitan University.  Elizabeth has experience handling debt matters, neighbour/property disputes, Landlord/Tenant and insurance disputes.  Her main specialism however is personal injury litigation having more than 20 years experience. Elizabeth has had experience of taking many cases through to trial over the years and has a very good success rate.
